RemoteOmics
Self-collection kit for blood
The future of scalable sample collection.
Reliable self-collected blood samples take multi-omics research everywhere. Remote sampling with >90% success rate. Kit and metabolomics measurement together starts from just €59.
Reliable self-collected blood samples take ’omics research everywhere
The Nightingale Kit lets participants collect their own blood sample for ’omics profiling from a fingerprick. We have developed the technology in-house to both collect samples and measure multiple ’omics, so we can:
- optimize the quality of data from self-collected samples,
- improve participant experience,
- enable flexible study design, and
- reduce costs.
Our self-collected blood sample analysis in brief
01
Reliable sampling and high data quality
Nightingale Kit tightly integrates to Nightingale Health’s blood analysis technology. This means we get successful biomarker analysis from >90% of returned samples, and maintain < 10% CV on nearly all measured biomarkers, half with CV < 5%.
02
Competitive pricing compared to venous sample collection workflow
Nightingale Kit simplifies the sample collection workflow by removing the complex coordination needed to acquire venous samples. This increases flexibility, allowing a price point where remote collection costs are similar to or even lower than venous samples.
03
Participant friendly remote sampling
Geographical and logistic limitations constrain many study designs. These limitations cause challenges in attracting participants, limit possibilities in sample collection, and create substantial costs.
04
Take multi-omics research everywhere
Our remote blood sample collection solution, where participants can draw their own sample from a fingerprick, creates substantial flexibility allowing study designs that have not been possible before while keeping costs under control.

The biomarkers from Nightingale Kit cover a wide range of biological functions
- Standard lipid panel (LDL, HDL, triglycerides)
- Detailed lipids (e.g. ApoA1 & ApoB)
- Insulin sensitivity (amino acids)
- Dietary intake (e.g. Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids)
- Chronic inflammation (GlycA)
- Fluid balance (e.g. albumin)
- Kidney function (e.g. creatinine)
- Long term blood sugar via HbA1c (optional extra)
- DNA extraction and genetic data (optional extra)
Remote sampling with >90% success rate.
