Dried blood analysis + Nightingale Kit
Collect reliable blood samples from anywhere, with a remote sampling success rate exceeding 90%. Deepen metabolic health insights with optional additional services.
Take your ’omics research anywhere with reliable self-collected blood samples.
With the Nightingale kit, participants collect their own blood samples for ‘omics analysis from a fingerprick.
The technology was developed in-house to optimize the quality of data from self-collected samples, improve participant experience, enable flexible study design, and offer affordable pricing.
What we offer
01
Reliable sampling and high data quality
The Nightingale Kit is tightly integrated to Nightingale Health’s blood analysis technology. This means successful metabolic biomarker analysis from >90% of returned samples, and < 10% CV on nearly all measured metabolic biomarkers, half with CV < 5%.
02
Competitive pricing compared to venous sample collection workflow
The Nightingale Kit simplifies the sample collection workflow by removing the complex coordination needed to acquire venous samples. This increases flexibility, allowing a price point where remote collection costs are similar to or even lower than venous samples.
03
Participant-friendly remote sampling
Geographical and logistic limitations constrain many study designs. These limitations cause challenges in attracting participants, limit possibilities in sample collection, and create substantial costs.
04
Take multiomics research anywhere
With our remote blood collection solution, participants draw their own sample from a fingerprick. This creates considerable flexibility, facilitating study designs that were not previously possible while keeping costs under control.

How it works
1/6
Research study organizer orders agreed number of Nightingale Kits.
2/6
Nightingale Health delivers kits in one batch to study organizer who registers the kit IDs.
3/6
Study organizer delivers the kits to study participants with mail or courier logistics.
4/6
Study participants receive the kits, draw the sample and return the kit to study organizer (14 days return window).
5/6
Study organizer pools the blood collection kits with collected samples in freezer.
6/6
Study organizer delivers the blood collection kits to Nightingale Health for analysis and Nightingale returns the results* to study organizer.
